Pre-Flash Checks (MUST READ)
If you have the R6T3 Resistor bridged, you must remove the bridge before updating.
If your R6T3 resistor is completely removed, you can not update.

So we want to bridge it, but we cannot have it bridged when updating? I'm a little confused.
No. You don't want it bridged, and you can't have it bridged if you want to update.
Bridging the R6T3 is the noobs way of keeping themselves from updating their dash to a non hacked kernel.

Sorry you are misinforming these folks..
r6t3 wether bridged or removed only prevents the efuses from being blown/burned.. I have done 3 consoles yesterday with r6t3 removed to the new rebooter perfectly fine..

If you don't remove the bridge there is a high chance your xbox will get an error especially with this dash.

Hey I was wondering if anyone could answer my question.
I am not sure If the R6T3 Resistor is removed on my jtag console or if it is bridged. What I want to know is if it will be safe to apply the update to connect to live after using the new freeBOOT 0.4 rebooter.
The update is just for avatars and for kinect to work i think, so is it safe?
Thanks in advance!
