Somebody test this. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is a link to the avatar update. This means build yourself a nand with an unbanned kv, then apply the update from that download link by copying it to a flash drive and putting it in the console, and THEN trying to connect.


I'm curious why no one has responded to this? Is this the problem for not connecting to xbl? yes? no?


We tested this theory with no success...Another unshared burnt..

has anyone read the release notes for the new freeboot it states that we need the cpu key from the xbox that the kv originally came from

Note:
=====
- for those of you using donor data, the security files shouldn't pose a
problem but make sure the CPU key you use is from the machine that donated
the kv instead of the target machine you are building the image for.



if someone whants to try this and let us all know how they get on
