All you need to do now is call 1-(800)-360-7561 and speak with someone about replacing your mouse. Tell them that your intellimouse is broken, and give them the PID of it. They will send you a new one, as in the new 3.0 intellimouse, no questions asked. It worked for me! I got my new intellimouse via UPS 2 days after I called. My other intellimouse magically started working for me when the new one arrived in the mail...what're the odds of that!?!

1. Call-in in the evening. Most of the time people will not care, because they want to go home.
2. Research the product before you call them, I mean watch a video on youtube of a unboxing.
3. Don't make them wait for every question they ask, and speak clearly.
4. All ways ask "What should I do?" - They give you options. Don't come to conclusions to quick, and play the "Dumb" guy.
5. Just don't call in unless you really need to... don't start a damn business or you will get you ass handed to you.

The original one had a virus attached to it, but I kindly took it off. I am still looking for more.
