ok i have got a pit bull and it is not the dog that is viscus its the owner if the dog is brought up with love and arownd kids it will not be viscus its all down to the owner and the only reson these dogs were baned because the use to breed them for dog fighting i was braught up around thes tipes of dogs pitbull and staffishire bull terriors (staffies)
so it just shows u that the are gr8 with kids. i recently got punched on the nose in the street lol but my stffie was with me and the growled and latched on to the guys arm so i kicked the shit out of the guy but staffies and pitbulls are realy protective over there owners but most likly to lick the shit out of u rather than bite u and is one had to bite u stick your finger up its ass

Dude, smartest thing to do is buy the Pitbull as a baby. And raise it right. That's what I did. I have an all black pitbull with a white stripe on his nose and his name is Adolph. He is seriously, the nicest dog I have ever owned. He does get defensive though, hates it when people show force. But raise him or her right, and they'll be the nicest dog ever.
