I know this question's been asked loads, but i seem to get a different answer everytime >_<

So about 2 months ago i got my dazzle, all the splitters and everything and it worked fine.Now i got a HD TV and i want to be able to record in SD while i play in HD.I have an xbox cable that had red, white and yellow ends, and also blue red and green ends, and i also have a HDMI cable. If it makes any difference i have a turtle beach, previously i plugged the xbox sound into my gaming chair and my tb into the chair, but i can do w/e providing the gaming chair or tb is plugged in.

Nopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee only HD cature cards can play and record in HD, SD cc can only play and record in SD

It's only 720p but it's better then SD ;)

no, 720P is HD
with this tut you're playing in 480P, which is SD
