Yes, you will need to make a couple of videos and submit them to machinima, they will 100% look at them and decide on the next stage, which may be a contract or a apology letter.

I think you'd be better off trying to be on the machinima respawn team, the actual machinima channel is for actual gaming "movies" if you will, while machinima respawn is for posting games, commentaries and all of that.
