Okey so here is a little Tutorial on how to fix E71 Error!
1. Plug out ALL of your cables
2. Plug in Only Av/Hdmi Cable and Power Cable/Cord, and The Harddisk, NO USB HARDDISK!
3. Turn it on, and it should work..
My Problem is that everytime i start the Xbox with the USB Stick in, it gives me E71
If i dont have the USB stick in, it works, So i am pretty sure that the E71 is all about the USB cables/ Cables!
If this did not work, please send me a message and i will try to help you
No flaming, plz. Im just tryin to help!

E71 is either a bad flash or something wrong happened on boot. Best to unplug all USB devices from the console then try to reboot.

iamdok wrote I've never had E-71 but from what I understand, first step is to reflash your NAND using xell/ous. I could be wrong but something tells me unplugging a cable is not going to fix the E-71.

I got it a few hour ago, check the posts below...
It worked for me, i tried to turn the xbox on and off like 5-10 times, and that didn't work.. So i think it will work for everyone.
