0110 Memory Error / Memory Overheating - see solution for error 0102

0102 unknown error - though it's most likely GPU related literally means the console does not know what is wrong. possibly a short or cold solder joint somewhere. So far there is 1 major theory for what causes most of these errors is that the Ram, CPU, or GPU are not soldered properly to the mother board due either to poor manufacturing or excessive heat up and cool down cycles that stress, weaken and eventually break the soldered connection.
There are two theories to fixing this one deals with the "X" clamps that hold down the chips. The other involves re-Heating the chips. DO NOT attempt either of these if your console is still under warranty. If your console is still under warranty return it to the store where it was purchased or call MS to have it replaced. I have also heard of limited success by simply switching the AV cable from "HDTV" mode to "TV" mode.

99% of error codes start with a 1 or 0 or is 4444. 4 red lights = 0. So I'm assuming your error code is actually 0110 which means you need you ram bricks (most likely the ones underneath the GPU heatsink) reflowed. This is a pain in the *** error code to fix. I HATE when I get consoles with 0110...

really? i like 0110 pretty easy in my opinion u put 2 pennies under each ram chip and then reflow the board, it has working for me 100% of the time

Hmmm... I'll give that a shot next time. Applies a little pressure to the ones on the bottom ones... In all honesty, I've only had a few that I couldn't fix with a reflow. I will certainly give that a go. Thanks! +Rep just for the idea.

0110 is usually ALWAYS GPU...This is years of experience and hundreds of consoles Reflowed..

It's usually cold solder under GPU...If GPU Reflow doesn't work, Reflow RAM..If all fails, bridge under GPU-Reball needed..

The end...Nothing more, nothing less...Get it properly Reflowed...Penny tricks, etc is a temp/worse solution and causes more stress/damage to the solder balls, thus making the solder strength weak/errors return..
