Yes if you set the speed of your controller faster than the max speeds allowed in the game it will get you capped. That's my an adjustable controller is the way to go. This way if there is an update you can re-adjust your controller and still not get capped.

I'm not famiular with those the amount of modes, is not the adjustable I'm talking about.
My controller allows me to adjust the speed of all 6 modes. Example mode 1 is set to 13 sps which I use for WAW, but I can adjust it to 15 sps and I will get capped. Got to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and look at the digital adjustable controller, I have 2 of these.
