How do I set up my Dazzle DVC 100 with the cables and with my TV so I can record live commentary when I record?

My setup is as follows (and to do so requires you have the HD componenet cables for your 360, as well as an HDTV) :
If you only want video, no audio (easiest setup) :
- Take the 3 HD A/V cables and plug them into the back of your television normally. This will provide what you will be seeing on your regular TV screen.
- Take your yellow A/V cable and plug it directly into the yellow inlet on your dazzle capture card.
- Take the Red/White cables and plug them into your stereo or TV, wherever you normally get your sound from.
-Finally, plug the dazzle into your computer
DONE! You should now have a video feed from your TV onto the program that you installed on your computer (comes with the dazzle).
Now, many people will also want audio. This is not required for GB proof in terms of map scores, but can be helpful to report racist players, thrash talking, and other useful conversations, and of coarse, the game sounds themselves.
To set up the audio for your dazzle:
-You will need to purchase 2 additional sets of cables, called Y-splitters. You will need 2 splitters, each with one female end, and 2 male ends.
-Take the red AV cable, and plug it into the female end of one of the splitters. Now take the male end of the splitter and plug it into the red inlet on your dazzle. Take the other end and plug it into your speakers or television.
-Do the same for the white cables.
-Finally, plug the dazzle into your computer
Congratulations, you should now have sound! (Note: To record conversations between players, you will need to adjust your 360 settings to "Play sound through speakers and headset") You will also NOT be able to hear yourself talking, only others who talk to you.
If your T.V. contains "TV OUT" A/V outlets, you can also try this setup:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
If for the above settings you do not get any video, look at the plug that attaches your A/V cables into your 360, and change the switch from HDTV to TV. Your 360 should still output video into the 3 HD component cables that are plugged into your TV (This is how it is on my setup).
Once this is all done, you will just need to test to make sure everything is working. Open up the program you installed on your computer and start recording. If you get a blue or black screen, something is wrong and you need additional help with your setup. If you can see the same thing that is going on on your TV, then you are ready!
Recording the Video
Now, you are given 2 ways to capture video: There is a Pinnacle InstantDVD Recorder software, and Pinnacle Studio QuickStart software. You will want to capture from Pinnacle Studio. Don't ask questions, just do it
Open studio, go to capture, and hit "Start Recording" You will be asked to name the file and choose a location to save it to. Hit ok and you will see the timer start running. You should also see the amount of space you have remaining, etc.
You are also given a few quality selections to choose from. Downloading in the highest quality takes up MUCH more space, and takes MUCH more time to upload. The lowest, however, and you won't even be able to see player names. I would recommend finding a balanced quality where you get the best space/upload time, while the quality is at least good enough to use as proof.
Once you've stopped recording and you have your video, go to edit video. At the bottom of the screen, you should have a timeline of the entire movie. You can slide the blue arrow at the top to quickly glance through the video.
Now, when you slide this cursor, it becomes possible for you to right click, and select "Split clip". Once this is done, you can delete certain parts of the clip. This becomes EXTREMELY useful.
When you need to submit proof, all you need is the map scores at the end of each round, so cut out everything except those areas, or else your upload times will be ridiculous.
Save your file, and then go to a website such as [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and upload your video. This could take a couple hours depending on your computer speed, and video size.
When finished, simply use the link to get others to view the video, enjoy!

Unless you have version 10.8 of pinnacle studio or later, you will need to download a driver to upgrade your version. I am currently unsure on the exact details, but was just hoping I could get you started on at least tracking your problem.
Note: If you have any additional information that would be helpful to this guide, such as different setups, extras, etc. Post them, and I'll throw them in.
+rep highly appreciated
Happy recording.
