Yes it is possible to upload a clip to YouTube directly from Theater mode.
What you need is:
A CoD Black Ops Account
A YouTube Account
An XBL/PSN Account
An internet connection
First Register at The Call Of Duty Official site [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Then go to the Theater section and log in [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Then press [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Choose the one you want to link, in this case it would be Xbox 360
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It will go to Xbox.com and you will have to sign in, and you have linked your LIVE account.
Now we need to link our YouTube account.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Just press Link and it will take you to YouTube.
If you are signed in, you will get something like this:

Just press "Allow Access"
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It will take you back to CoD Black Ops Theater and your account will be successfully linked.

Now on your Xbox 360 go to Theater and find a recently played game and start recording. Then save to File Share when you are done.
Go back to the theater menu on Xbox 360, click your file share and select the video.
Then click on "Render". Please note you can only Render videos which are 30 seconds or less. If it is over 30 seconds, you cannot render it.
After you render it it will play the video and then start to upload.
After it is Rendered it may take a while for it to appear on both CoD Black Ops Theater and YouTube.
I know 30 seconds is not that long, so here's a little tip.
Render a bunch of 30 second videos and then download the mp4 from YouTube and then put them all together using a Video Editing Program like Movie Maker or Vegas Pro.
