If you are a PS3 owner thinking of purchasing an Xbox 360 Slim i have some news which may make your decision for you, when Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC is released, it will be coming to Xbox Live first.
This has been the case with both of the map packs which have been released for Modern Warfare 2, the first map pack (Stimulus Package) was first available on Xbox Live on March 30th, whilst PS3 and PC owners had to wait until May 4th. The second map pack (Resurgence Package) arrived on Xbox Live on June 3rd, whilst PS3 and PC gamers had to wait until July 3rd.
Activision confirmed this news, apparently they have reached a new deal with Microsoft which will give the Xbox 360 exclusivity with all Black Ops map packs (probably for a month or so), which will no-doubt leave PS3 and PC gamers frustrated.
As part of its E3 2010 press conference, Microsoft announced it has signed a multi-year agreement with publisher Activision that will see all all Call of Duty map packs released first on Xbox 360.
The agreement includes all Call of Duty titles through the year 2012.
Also Some News On The Map Pack It Has Been Released That The Producers Of The Map Pack Is Raven Studios.

Some info on the court battle to settle who produces the maps
With the situation at Infinity Ward still ongoing, and a court battle yet to see the light of day over Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision is still in a bit of a hole with their upcoming 3 projects based around the popular war franchise.
Treyarch are already deep in development with Call of Duty: Black Ops and Sledgehammer Studios are rumoured to be working on the MMO version of COD. Now it seems Raven Studios are being drafted in as a possible replacement for Infinity Ward as lead team.
Having worked previously on games like Singularity and Wolfenstein, as well as some of the previous COD map packs, Raven have an FPS pedigree at least but they've got some mighty big shoes to fill replacing Infinity Ward directly.
The studio had previously been working on a James Bond title and a follow up to X-Men Origins: Wolverine for Activision but these projects have seemingly been put on hold.
