i got a falcon jtag in a trade and it had a bad flash(e79) and i wouldent load xell so i had to hook up the lpt cable but now im confused, do i need to dump the nand again, or can i just write the new nand i made?

Just flash back to the original nand.

reflash your nand again and install freeboot and xell again.
