When I do try it goes off and doesn't come back on. And on the pc it says jailbreak failed

bro use Spirit and also if the ipod don't turn on press the power and menu button for like 5 secs and it should turn on...

Does it do iphone4 ver 4.1

Try the others. If it's an iphone 4 it might work on blackra1n. If it doesn't work on that, try downgrading it to 4.0 and try thetechgame.org, or try limera1n, redns0w, etc.
