Sup i dont have my DVD drive right now cuz its in upgrade but is it safe to play games from HDD like trails HD or summin?

You need your drive to spin the disc up to pass security checks if this is just a flashed console.
Also starting your console without a drive is a bad idea, it gets logged !

Sometimes an Xbox will work without a DVD Drive in rare cases. Mine does it and i have been online while doing so. That being said i didn't stay on very long, but it hasnt been banned or anything but the console probably got flagged. So i wouldn't exactly say thats its "safe" to do it constantly seeming as Microsoft like ban people and consoles left right and centre.
