i prefer smaller tv's like 19 - 30 inch because i always sit right up close to my tv but the tv sounds awesome

Sounds good, maybe a bit smaller though i'd recommend...
Surround sound is a must unless you got TB's.

That's kinda costly. I will be getting a 42 also in a few weeks for around $600.
