no offence but is everyone stupid saying sticky when the only people who tried it said they couldnt get it to work looool

I dont care if it doesnt become a sticky, the main point is that it worked for me and I expained to everyone how I got it to work.

Hello everyone, toady im going to show you how to un-ban yourself from Black Ops.





Well most of you get an error message saying, "The Black Ops servers are not available at this time"
That means you have been banned, and me and -1337- have found a way to get round it.


This is how you do it...


Step 1. Get to a command prompt (Start, run, cmd)
Step 2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).
Step 3. Type "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).




That is it, next you should turn your xbox off and then on again. Go on Black Ops and you should be ale to play online. Stats/Rank do stay as long as you do it a couple minutes after the server unavailable message.

This was tested by me. All credit goes to -1337- and me.

Enjoy playing Black Ops again guys.

Note: This only works for some people. Because some bans are different.

you need to be on the Host pc
and if you ae on vista u need to "Run as Administrator"

anyone konw a way of changing ur profile id without corrupting ur profile if so im sure that could get past the other bans ??

Yes you can, theres a code that works, just cant remember where I saw it.
