Wow people this will never work and don't think it will because they ban your GT, not your IP Address.

I mean do you really think with all the security and sht Treyarch has to keep the game clean that hey would make it that easy to unban yourself.

so u are saying if u change GT you are unban ?

this will not work, if you release your ip from a computer you are only releasing the computers ip and renewing it not the xbox. If your outside ip address is banned the only way to get a new one (or try at least) is to power off your cable or dsl modem and reboot it. You might have to do it several times before you get a new ip address. Why would they ban your ip when they can just ban the gamer tag, duhhhh!!

I haven't read many posts, but I'll continue with my statement.
1st of all, this will NOT change your IP address. The only way to do it is to contact your ISP and ask them to change it.
2nd, when you get the error message "can not connect to black ops servers," it is your GT, not your IP address. How do I know? 2 accounts 1 xbox; I can access the unbanned one.
3rd, this does in NO WAY deserve a sticky because what the OP stated is incorrect.

could changing your profile id possible unban u from a GT ban
or just simply changing ur GT or Both?
