Well for one, just because the mayan calander ends doesnt mean the world ends, it means that the calander starts a new cycle(the mayan calander is what the 2012 theory is about.

And for 2, the planets may "align", but for a meteor to be magically thrown off course, thats proposterous, and i realise that it would make a perfect path to earth, but what about the meteor belt, the meteor would hit the meteor belt, and explode on some of the bigger meteors.

Agreed on the whole meteor thing, but everyone knows that there's no such thing as meteors anyways. If there were though, the jews would stop the meteor before it even came close to the earth with their jew magic.
