What we're going to be doing today:
Section 1: Stopping it from running
Section 2: Deleting registry values added by the threat
Secction3: Deleting the associated files
~Warning: If you're unsure of what you're doing always do system restore checkpoint to backup your registry settings.
How to Do a System restore checkpoint or restore from a previous date:
Section 1:
Step 1: Click run and type in mscofig
Step 2: Then click start up
Step 3:After that if you see something checked, you're going to uncheck it so that way it wont start up on your computer when you restart it.
Step 4: hit Control+Alt+Delete Windows Task Manager will come up.
Step 5:You then click "Services" and it will show you all that's running. If something seems suspicous and/or you don't know what it's you delete it by right clicking it and click end process.
Section 2:
Step 1: Click run, then type in regedit
Step 2: Click current user.
Step 3: Go to Software
Step 4: Click Microsoft
Step 5: Click Windows
Step 6:Then click current version[img]
Step 7: Click Run
Step 8: Then you click on whatever is running. If you know it's a virus, keylogger, etc. click delete. If you're usnure you can search the .exe by clicking edit at the top and clicking find
Section 3:
Step 1: Click run and type in explorer
Step 2: Go to Documents and Settings and click on Administrator
Step 3: Click Local Setting and click Temp
Step 4: Highlight everything and just delete it all
Once you've done this, restart your computer and every virus, keylogger, etc that you manually deleted will be gone !
I did NOT copy and paste this. Just made it off this
