If you answer most of these questions when i acctualy get my JTage to work I will get you and a friend in a free lobyy. I know I cant prove but i promise I will. I want to set up tons of lobbys. When I get this to work I will be hosting everyday for a low price of 15$. Once I get stickied I will start charging 20$. Thank you for helping

1) Where should you buy? NEVER Buy from Craigslist. Call it paranoia, but do not trust going to other people's houses to buy goods, or invite them into your own. Start at xbox-scene.com They have a lot of KVs.

2)How much to KVs cost? HECK NO do they cost $130 dollars. I can buy about 3 for that price. They range from 40-60 dollars. Anything above that is a rip off.

3)Where to buy a Jtag? Ok so this guy was sort of right about one thing. You can get your Jtag on ebay, but I'd suggest a more trusted source like Xbox-scene or the buying section of these forums (If there is one).

4)Is this a good JTag? Those actually are about the right price for a Jtag. Never go above $250 for a xenon or falcon. And never buy anything other than a Xenon or Falcon for they are the only ones that allow the changing of KVs, the others will not allow you to unban them.

5)Good list? Everything correct in that list except for the USB port. In most cases, the Jtag is installed using a 25 pin printer LPDT (sp?) port (It's cheaper this way). Therefore you will need a LPDT port on your computer. But if the JTag comes installed using USB, then yes, a USB port will be needed.

No, you didn't assume he was buying more than one KV. You almost screwed the kid over by not warning him about the LPDT port. You didn't tell him about only buying a Falcon or a Xenon, anything else would have screwed him over again. All you did was tell him yes and no, some of which were completely incorrect. I disagreed with what you said because it was almost completely incoherent. With a Jtag, it's a very detailed process, not just yes and no. Don't act like you know anything about a Jtag before you answer OP's questions.

...Lol, I bet you don't even know what format KVs come in.
