Hello,
I really need some help. I have been trying to get my Dazzle to work. I have been able to capture footage but it puts it into some weird format called "IFO" file. Please help as I want to make montages.

Yeah i heard about this problem i think you have to downlaod a Video Converter from online and change it to AVI or better if you have the space on your memory

pinaccle studio 12 should of came with it..... its ok

You can use a video convertor to convert it to avi or just use pinnacle 12 which comes with the dazzle to record edit and make a movie straight away.

pinnacle studio 12/14 is good
I don't know why it is putting it in that format, mine does not. Are you exporting it in instant DVD as a whole dvd with menus that is the only thing i can think of.
