I agree with you on this but sometimes people may say: "Giveaway, pick a number 1-1000" in that situation you have no need to post over 20 characters.

Just because the thread does not need a reply that is at least 20 characters does not grant you the right to bypass the system, you can easily make your post longer by adding description and longer words.

Guy 1:Choose a number between 1-1000.
Guy 2:I choose the number twenty.

It's not hard at all.
