I doubt that works, otherwise it'd just be too easy
Also, a lot more people would've tried this out then and everybody would know about it! (Unfortunately Treyarch would be amongst everyone)
Yup but there has to be a way.
Between changing profile IDs and GT and maybe IPs.
I have faith we will find a combo.
The different bans that they enforce use different techniques.
Because the "Release/renew IP" trick worked for some ( IP ban ) but not for others.
My guess is that they ban based on Profile ID.
Okay so what change my ID and my IP?
I did them both and I am still banned.
Well could you use another profile while under that "IP Ban"?
If it's an IP ban, you have to change your IP by either releasing and renewing it or by a plain power cycle. (Only works if you have a dynamic IP adress for obvious reasons )
If it's an IP ban, no account will be able to access XBL from that IP.
If it's not, the only thing that works so far is making a new ( temporary ) account

If I did a GPD and they catch me, am I perma-banned or just reset?

Well let me ask you this.
If you do get a permanent ban will it have been worth it?

You do make an excellent point there.
I might just go dump those points into a new tag change my id.....
But my only fear is the system they use for banning probably is the same system they use to keep your stats......
