I know this is some what of a common problem with Jtags.. Most people say to clean the Laser with a Q-Tip and rubbing Ac. I did that and still am have the same problem.. I think it might have something to do not so external of the xbox..
Please let me know what i need to do.

if You Are Lucky to Have a Benq or Lite-on disc Drive, They are 2 Ports, 1 is DVD 1 is Games

turn the left port left, which make the dvd less active.

if Not, i recommend getting a new lazer or buying the same drive and changing the motherboard over.

I tried this with a hitachi drive 47xx, didn't work, anyone any suggestions?

100% postiv it was a bad flash, reflash with ur dvd key, and model it will work this has happened to me

You might need to flash it so your dvd drive is flashed

i got mine flashed thats probablys the easiest way
