It's been stated many times but the game now checks your gpd for added stuff and resets it so it remains the correct size.

Incorrect, this happens on the menu. Maybe if your join a game instead of the full game it may work...?

If someone who has said it has worked could submit video proof it would be very helpful, as this is a long and complicated process.
