my dazzle platinum, the black one is lagging whilst recording and playing back. it dropping frames like heck. i have a top spec laptop, HP Pavilion DV7.

what u mean with lagging is the video lagging thats only ur pc thats my me too

When it starts to drop frames you need to restart computer and it should pick them back up again

You need more memory, RAM. Don't run any other programs with it.

you running programs that might slow down your computer while recording? It could also be your usb port - try a different one.

Don't run any programs, also. Try run Task manager, and change the priority of pinnacle to Realtime, or High. Or try DL new drivers, i'm having the same problem, and still haven't fixed. And my dazzle worked fine on my other laptop, and this one i'm using is better. If you get an answer please tell me. I have 4GB Ram, and around 280G Memory.
