I've been playing on a 20 inch TV, not even HD. I have some cash now and want to buy a new TV. Does 32 inch seem like a good size? I don't want to spend very much, and there is a 32 inch a Best Buy for $250. It's 720p. There is a 32 inch at 1080p but it cost a lot more. Will I really notice between a 720p and 1080p? I have Verizon Fios but I don't have an HD box, so I won't be watching TV in HD. Only my games will be in HD.

I also want to get an Hauppage HD PVR, and that's $200 right there. I have about $450 right now, so for me to buy the PVR, I will only have $250, which is good for the 32 inch I mentioned. But my birthday is in February, so maybe I could spend the money I have now, on a TV? And then get the PVR for my birthday? So if I spend $450 on a TV, what would be a good one to get?

Any recommendations on what to do would be great.
