Hey guys, I got an HD PVR today, along with about a million other people. I have it working and everything, the audio is fine and everything else is perfect. However, when I record, it doesn't capture video. I know it picks up video because on the preview screen before I press record it shows the xbox. Anybody help? I will +rep.
BTW i'm using ArcSoft that came with the PVR.

you need to make yourself a folder on desktop called whatever you want then click the folder in the bottom left of the recording screen in arcsoft. and chose your folder then it wil save videos.

I did that and it makes a .mp4 file that isn't a regular video file but it can be read by Vegas. However, when I import it there isn't any video.

Okay I just tried again and it still isn't recording video but it's recording audio. I tried with and without preview during recording...

Click on ps3 when it records so the file saves as a mp2t or sumfin, it might work, u should use ps3 anyway as the file format has better quality
