Here are some tips for Black Ops online play.
Wager Match:
Basic tips for Wager Matches
One in the Chamber
[spoil]
-This, like most other wager matches, is NOT a camping map. I cannot stress
this enough: If you camp, you will not get enough kills to place, compared to
the other players running around getting kills. However, camping when there is
only one or two people left alive is probably a good idea.
-I would not suggest taking shots from a long distance. While the pistol is
very accurate while aiming down the sight, if you miss you are very far away
from the player, and have no bullets.
-Take the shot. If there's a player running at you, or you're facing off, don't
go for a perfect shot. You'll get killed. Aim a little and fire quickly.
Remember: even an arm or foot shot gives you the kill.
-If you fire and miss, you can't hesitate. If they haven't fired yet, either
duck behind a wall and try to draw his shot, or run at him somewhat zigzagged.
If they have taken a shot, run at them as fast as you can. This is a knife
battle now. You should probably try in other gamemodes to find out the
distance where a knife will kill someone. When you reach that distance, knife
them for the kill, and your bullet back.
Sticks and Stones:
Gun game:
Sharpshooter:
Perks:
1 Kill: Sleight of Hand Pro
2 Kills: Lightweight Pro
3 Kills: Steady Aim Pro
4 Kills: 2x Score Multiplier (In Sharpshooter Round it will become a 4x score
multiplier)
Tips:
-Remember: everyone has the same gun. If you're stuck with an akimbo weapon, so
is that guy on the other end of the map that can see you. You both need to get
closer, so don't worry too much about him hitting you.
-Try for high killstreaks. They can be extremely helpful. Don't go do something
stupid to possibly get a kill but also have a chance of losing a high
killstreak. You lose all of your perks if you die.
-Camping with certain weapons is appropriate. The sniper rifles are difficult
to get kills with if you just run around going for quickscopes and no-scopes.
This can apply to other weapons too. Just get a feel for what you should camp
with and what you shouldn't.

as well as information fixes and adding tips.[/spoil]
Easter Eggs:
Nuketown Mannequin Secret
If you shoot the heads of all the mannequins in Nuketown then you will hear "Sympathy for the Devil" by The Rolling Stones play over the loud speakers.
Play the song "Dont Back Down" by Eminem in Five zombie map
There are three red phones throughout the pentagon that ring and flash. The first is located where you first start after opening a set of doors in corner. Second is in the Pack-a-Punch room. The third is in one of the rooms after leaving the second elevator on the floor the power is on. Just listen for a cell phone type ring and follow it to the red rotary phone. Look at them and hold X till the ringing stops and you hear a busy sound. Once you get the third the music starts.
Activate Secret Song in Kino Der Toten
There is always a secret song in every Zombies Map. For Kino Der Toten, you have to find the 3 Meteor rocks. The first is on a pedestal in the main lobby, in a corner behind the sofa. The second one is in the dressing room near some Dummies, this one is also on a pedestal. the final one is the room upstairs near the ally way. The rock is on a dresser type thing sharing some space with black marquee letters. These rocks while small are easily distinguishable as they have red veins. You must hold the USE button on your controller on these rocks until your character says something or the veins glow red. The song is called 115 by Elena Siegman.
Perks:
The following tells you all the Perks and how to achieve pro.
Tier 1
[spoil]
Light Weight:
[spoil]
Lightweight - Move Faster
Lightweight Pro - No fall damage
Pros:
- Move faster
- No fall damage when pro
Cons:
- Can't switch weapons faster like in MW2,
- Not as fast like in MW2
(1) Kill the enemy with your knife 15 times
(2) Escape death 5 times after being hurt
(3) Get 10 offense medals by killing the enemy near their objective
- 1st challenge: Is simple just go around knifing people and youll complete
in no time that is if your good.
- 2nd challenge: Is quite simple as well but can be painful sometimes, just get
enough red on the screen then run away and heal and repeat to complete this
challenge.
- 3rd challenge: Is quite easy as well just play a objective game like
domination, CTF, sabotage, headquarters, demolition and kill the enemy players
when they are trying to complete their objective.
Scavenger:
Scavenger - Replenish ammo and lethal grenades
Scavenger Pro - Start with extra mags and replenish tactical grenades
Pros:
- Resupply ammo and lethal and tactical grenades
Cons:
-Can't resupply everything in MW2, only resupply ammo and lethal grenades when
not pro, resupply tactical grenades when pro, can't resupply equipment.
(1) Resupply 150 times
(2) Get 5 grenade kills with a scavenged (resupplied) grenade
(3) Get 5 kills without dying 5 times
- 1st challenge: Is just go around and finding blue packs to resupply, its
simple but annoying to pick up 150 bags.
- 2nd challenge: Is to throw away your grenade and then resupply and kill someon
5 times to get it [I suggest using a semtex and finding campers to achieve this
challenge or if your skilled enough just do it].
- 3rd challenge: Is to be a camper with a motion sensor and just kill the enemy
easily, this tactic is the best way to do it unless youre really skilled and
do it without camping.
Ghost:
Ghost - Remain undetected from enemy spyplanes
Ghost Pro - Remain undetected from enemy aircrafts, infrared scopes
Pros:
- Almost like colded blooded
Cons:
- Must pro it out first before it is good since aircrafts, IR scopes and
killstreaks like chopper gunner and gunship can see you.
(1) Get 20 kills with a spyplane or blackbird activated
(2) Shoot down 30 aircraft killstreaks
(3) Destroy 1 enemy sentry gun
- 1st challenge: Is to just kill people when the spyplane is on, simple task to
do. [NOTE THAT THE SPYPLANE DOES NOT NEED TO BE YOURS TO COMPLETE THIS
CHALLENGE].
- 2nd challenge: Is to use the M72 LAW to shoot spyplanes for now, or you can
wait till your level 30 to unlock the strela-3 launcher and do this challenge.
[MY ADVICE IS TO JUST WAIT TO LEVEL 30 AND COMPLETE THIS, HAVING ONLY 1 SHOT
WITH THE M72 LAW WILL TAKE AWHILE.]
- 3rd challenge: Finding an enemy sentry gun can be a hard task because not
many people use this killstreak, so from what I learned us to unlock the sentry
gun killstreak and throw it to the enemy and let them have it, then follow the
person who took it and knife it to complete this challenge.
Flak Jacket:
Flak Jacket - Take less explosive damage
Flak Jacket Pro - Deflect fire damage and reset grenades
Pros:
- It's like the blast shield except that its a perk,
- Reset grenades like in CODWAW.
- Pretty much invincible to fire damage including napalm strike after
its landed
Cons:
-
(1) Survive 10 explosions
(2) Plant/Defuse 10 bombs in Demolition, Sabotage, Search and Destroy
(3) Throw 5 grenades back
- 1st challenge: This is an annoying challenge since many people use semtex
instead of frags, my suggestion is to do this with a friend almost like
boosting in MW2.
- 2nd challenge: My Suggestion is to play demolition to complete this challenge
the fast.
- 3rd challenge: Like challenge 1 just do it with a friend.
Hardline:
Hardline - 1 less kill for killstreak
Hardline Pro - Change the contents of the care package
Pros:
- Like MW2 hardline except the pro is replaced with switching care packages to
random killstreaks or ammo.
Cons:
- Nothing really bad about it
- No deathstreaks to help you out
(1) Share 10 of your care packages
(2) Get 7 killstreaks with the hardline perk
(3) Get a 7 killstreak without dying
- 1st challenge: This can be a daunting task sometimes since people on your
team doesnt want to pick it up, so throw the care package where all your
teamates are and then spyplane to keep your care package safe from the enemy,
you can also do it like the Flak Jacket challenge 1 with a friend.
- 2nd challenge: For this challenge you want to put on small killstreaks like
Spyplane, Counter Spyplane and Care Package so the killstreaks are 2,3,4.
- 3rd challenge: You can camp or run and gun doesnt really matter, my choice
would be to camp with a motion sensor and kill a couple and then move to
another location to do complete the challenge.
[/spoil]
Tier 2
Hardened:
[spoil]
Hardened - This is pretty much FMJ for any gun used
Hardened Pro - Extra damage to aircrafts, sentry guns/ SAM turrets and flinch
less when being shot
Pros:
- Don't know what say about it
Cons:
- It is not like the stopping power perk but the FMJ attachment in MW2,
- Not a good perk to use
(1) Get 10 kills through walls
(2) Shot 200 bullets into enemy aircrafts
(3) Destroy 1 enemy equipment through a wall
- 1st challenge: This is challenging since that FMJ is actually a perk and not
an attachment, so just find campers and shoot them through the walls to kill
them.
- 2nd challenge: When a helicopter comes out just shoot it.
- 3rd challenge: Have hacker on and find an enemy equipment and shoot it.
Scout:
Scout - Hold breath longer
Scout Pro - Switch weapons
Pros:
- Sniping is easier since you don't need to pro it out like the steady aim pro
in MW2
- Switching weapons is fast
Cons: Can't say anything bad about it
(1) Get 50 kills with your secondary weapon
(2) Get 50 1 shot kills
(3) Get 30 headshots
- 1st challenge: Take the Python or the Makarov and just kill people or get a
RPG with the scavenger perk and go blowing up people.
- 2nd challenge: Buy the WA2000 and try and go for the head otherwise go for
the armpits or higher.
- 3rd challenge: Straight forward task, get 30 headshots with any weapon with
this perk equipped.
Steady Aim:
Steady Aim - Increased accuracy when firing from the hip
Steady Aim Pro - Aim down the sight faster after sprinting and recover faster
after knifing
Pros:
- Just like Steady Aim in MW2
- Pro replaces the lightweight perk in MW2
Cons:
-
(1) Get 2 knife kills in 5 seconds
(2) Get 100 kills after sprinting
(3) Get 150 hip fire kills with the perk
- 1st challenge: Use a ballistic knife to help you complete this task faster.
- 2nd challenge: If your sprinting and you see an enemy stop to either knife of
shoot them, this challenge is more suited towards the shotgun [preferably] but
I guess you can use anything.
- 3rd challenge: Shotgun is the best for this either wise use a submachine gun
when hip firing.
Sleight of Hand:
Sleight of Hand - Reload faster
Sleight of Hand Pro - Aim down the sight faster [except sniper rifles]
(1) Get 150 kills aiming down the sight of your weapon
(2) Kill an enemy within 5 seconds of reload your gun 30 times
(3) Reload and kill your enemy after you wounded them 10 times
Pros:
- Reload alot faster
- ADS is great
Cons:
- No more quick scoping with snipers
- 1st challenge: Just aim down the sight and kill the enemy, pretty straight
forward challenge.
- 2nd challenge: After reloading your weapon kill an enemy
- 3rd challenge: When having a fire fight hit them a couple of times, prone or
hide and reload then kill the enemy.
Warlord:
Warlord - Put on 2 attachments on the primary weapon
Warlord Pro - Start with extra lethal and tactical grenades [except smokes]
Pros:
- Just like the Bling perk in MW2
Cons:
- Cannot attach the all the things you want [see Warlord Attachment Guide]
(1) Get 150 kills with 2 attachments on your gun
(2) 10 kills with a frag/semtex grenade
(3) Get 1 multi kill with a frag/semtex grenade
- 1st challenge: Just equip 2 attachments on your gun and kill.
- 2nd challenge: Just kill 10 people with your grenades.
- 3rd challenge: This challenge is really hard to complete since you need to
kill 2+ enemies with your frag or semtex, spyplane to see where everyone is
hiding or might be to this. Ive have learned that you should play like
Objective games to complete this task since people like to run and capture
objectives making a lot of people in 1 spot easier to kill.
[/spoil]
Tier 3
Tactical Mask
[spoil]
Tactical Mask - Protect yourself against nova gas
Tactical Mask Pro - Reduce the effect of flash and concussion grenades also
can see on radar where the enemy is when hit by a tactical grenade
Pros:
-
Cons:
-
(1) Get 20 kills after you flash banged an enemy
(2) Get 20 kills after you used a concussion grenade on an enemy
(3) Get 20 kills after you used a nova gas on an enemy
- 1st challenge: Kill after you flashed the enemy [NOTE THAT THE ENEMY MUST
STILL BE AFFECTED BY THE GRENADE TO COUNT AS A KILL]
- 2nd challenge: Get the kill after you stunned the enemy [NOTE THAT THE ENEMY
MUST STILL BE AFFECTED BY THE GRENADE TO COUNT AS A KILL]
- 3rd challenge: Get the kill after the enemy is affected by nova gas [NOTE
THAT THE ENEMY MUST STILL BE AFFECTED BY THE GRENADE TO COUNT AS A KILL]
Marathon:
Marathon - Sprint for a longer duration
Marathon Pro - Sprint forever
Pros:
- Sprint forever
Cons:
- Need to pro it out before you can sprint forever
- Not as good as MW2 starting perk
(1) Sprint 26 miles
(2) Get the first blood medal 10 times
(3) In CTF mode, get the CTF medal 15 times with the perk on
- 1st challenge: This challenge is simple because you are always sprinting
this challenge might take awhile but is a easy one to do.
- 2nd challenge: This is hard since you need to draw 1st blood, to achieve
this you need to think where the enemy might be moving then you can either
grenade ahead of time or shoot them or play objective games to achieve this.
- 3rd challenge: To achieve this you must play capture the flag, to do this
need to get the enemy flag and return it to your base to get 1 medal and there
are 2 ways to do this.
(1) You can always follow your flag carrier and let him die so you can get the
flag and return to your base to get the medal.
(2) Have a tactical insertion and plant it close enough to the enemies flag but
not to close so it can be heard or seen [in a secluded spot where people
wont think to look] so you can grab the flag and if you die youll spawn
close to it.
Ninja:
Ninja - Move silently
Ninja Pro - Make no sound at all but enemies movements are louder
Pros:
- Quiet as mouse when not pro
- Pro gives the Sit Rep Pro perk from MW2
Cons:
-
(1) Get 150 kills with a silenced weapon
(2) Get the backstabber medal 5 times
(3) Plant the bomb 10 times in Demolition, Sabotage or Search and Destroy
- 1st challenge: Equip the suppressor on your primary weapon or secondary
weapon and kill the enemy
- 2nd challenge: To achieve this you need to knife the enemy in the back
[your character put actually put the knife in the back and not a swipe to
get the medal]
- 3rd challenge: Play demolition to achieve this challenge faster.

Weapons:
The following tells you most if not all stats for each gun in the game.
Read this for guide on stats!!!
[spoil]
For this section I've added all the Primary, Secondary and Special weapons,
the weapon section is broken down into 3 parts, 1st there is a rating out
of 10 to show good the weapon is, the cost, ammo and clip size as well as the
stats and attachments for each gun. The 2nd part is a rating out of 5 to show
how good the weapon is actually. The 3rd part is tells some pros and cons and
how this gun should be used. [2nd and 3rd part are soley based on my opinon]
Aiming Down Sight: The rating that is show here depicts how much recoil your
weapon has thus making 1 the worst and 5 the best [3.5 and below rating is
recommended that you burst your weapon since the recoil on the weapon is bad]
Hip Firing: This also shows how much recoil your weapon has when your not
aiming down the sight, if hip firing alot i suggest the steady aim perk to
help you out.
Reloading with Ammo: Now this shows how fast your weapon reloads when you
at least 1 bullet still left in the gun, it sounds wierd but having at least
1 bullet in the gun is useful when reloading.
Reloading with No Ammo: The difference between reloading with ammo and none
is that when reloading with no ammo you need to take out the clip put a new
one in and then **** back the gun to be used again thus making difference
when fighting a bunch of people.
Primary Weapons:
Sub Machine Guns:
[spoil]
MP5k:
[spoil]
Weapon: MP5K
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 5/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Suppressor,
Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
The starting SMG that has decent damage and range though better in Black Ops
than MW2 since the recoil is lessened alot, use this weapon in close to mid
range fights, reloading is quite slow so Sleight of Hand is required and I
would not use this weapon for hip firing.
Skorpion:
Weapon: Skorpion
Rating: 5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 8/10
Range: 2/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Grip, Suppressor, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4.5/5
This weapon is great since its the most accurate SMG in the game but the only
problem is that its clip and ammo size is small and it has very low range,
only use for close range fights [small maps like Nuketown, Summit, etc], I've
also noticed that the 8 damage is not really 8 damage but rather like 5-6/10
damage rating so don't get fooled by this.
MAC11:
Weapon: MAC11
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip, Suppressor,
Rapid Fire, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 4/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4.5/5
I say the MAC11 is the same as the MP5 but is way faster, more accurate, less
recoil, use close to mid range fights, hip firing is great and has a fast
reloading time.
AK74u:
Weapon: AK74u
Rating: 9/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 6/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Grip, Suppressor, Grenade Launcher, Rapid FIre
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
The most common SMG used in the Black Ops game since it has high damage, its
quite accurate, you can use it for close to long range fights, hip firing is
kind of so so and its reloading is decent.
UZI:
Weapon: Uzi
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 32/96
Damage: 5/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip,
Suppressor, Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
I've haven't seen the Uzi used that much in Black Ops and is not a common
weapon to be used though it has decent stats in all aspects of the game, its
fire rate is second to none making it great for flanking the enemy with this
but since the fire rate is quite high you run out of bullets fast.
PM63:
Weapon: PM63
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Grip, Rapid Fire, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
I've also haven't seen this weapon alot in Black Ops but is fairly accurate
with decent damage, use in close to mid range fights, hip firing is ok and it
has good reload time. This weapon is quite fast as well but the ammo clip is
small meaning this gun is not to be used to build long killstreaks.
MPL:
Weapon: MPL
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 32/96
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip,
Suppressor, Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
In my opinon I think the MPL is just like the Uzi but is a bit better.
Spectre:
Weapon: Spectre
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Grip, Suppressor, Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
A sort of common weapon used in Black Ops, good damage, accuracy and reload
time, use in close to mid range fights and is ok in hip firing.
Kiparis:
Weapon: Kiparis
Rating: 3/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/60
Damage: 6/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Suppressor, Rapid Fire, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
Don't let these stats fool you this gun, even though the stats look good the
the gun itself isn't that great, the stats on the gun are ok but the since the
recoil is so heavy on this gun is makes it alot worse.
[/spoil]
Assault Rifles:
M16:
[spoil]
Weapon: M16
Rating: 10/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 9/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 3 Round Burst
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4/5
The starting assualt rifle and is awesome as it was in MW2, its accuarcy is
the best in the game beside the G11 with a high fire rate, great damage since
2-3 bullets usually kills someone, should be used in mid to long fights, you
should not use this weapon to hip fire since its a burst weapon.
Enfield:
Weapon: Enfield
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
A common weapon used in the game with standard damage and accuarcy, use mid to
long range fights, ok in hip firing [I personally liked this weapon and used
it alot until I bought another gun.]
M14:
Weapon: M14
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 8/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
Being the strongest weapon in the game beside the FN Fal since its a semi-
automatic weapon, I would suggest you equip the grip for this gun to help with
the recoil on the gun, the accuracy is incredibly good, use in mid to long
fights, do not hip fire with this weapon.
FAMAS:
Weapon: Famas
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
The famas is no longer a burst weapon but a automatic, it has low damage like
in MW2, decent accuarcy, use in mid to long fights, I guess you can hip fire
with this weapon but I wouldn't recommend it.
Gaili:
Weapon: Gaili
Rating: 8.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 35/105
Damage: 6/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
Notably the best assault rifle in the game according to me, its damage is ok
but the accuarcy and fire make up for it, it can be used close to long range
making it a all purpose weapon, also hip firing is ok.
AUG:
Weapon: Aug
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
The Aug is almost like the Famas except that the famas has a little more range
than the Aug, I prefer the Aug instead.
FN FAL:
Weapon: FN Fal
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 8/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
Pretty much the same thing as the M14 but you don't need grip for it.
AK-47:
Weapon: AK47
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
I found that when using the Ak47 that when aiming down the sight and hip
firing that the recoil has deceased alot from what it was in MW2 making this
weapon in more deadlier, with great damage, good accuarcy and the using the
weapon for mid to long range fights.
Commando:
Weapon: Commando
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 1.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
I see this weapon alot in the game but aint that good good, its pretty much
like the famas.
G11:
Weapon: G11
Rating: 9.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 48/144
Damage: 7/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 9/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 3 Round Burst
Attachments: Low Power Zoom, Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
The G11 is pretty much like the M16 but has a bigger clip and ammo size but
doesn't have all the attachments you want.
[/spoil]
Shotguns:
Olympia:
[spoil]
Weapon: Olympia
Rating: 5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 2/18
Damage: 8/10
Range: 4/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Double Barrel
Attachments: Nothing
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 1/5
So the Olympia is like the rangers in MW2 except its not a sawn off shotgun,
though the damage is high on this weapon it somtimes needs 2 shots to kill the
person, only use is for close range fights, must have sleight of hand equipped.
Stakeout:
Weapon: Stakeout
Rating: 7/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 4/12
Damage: 8/10
Range: 2/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Pump Action
Attachments: Grip
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
Like the Spaz-12 in MW2 but has less shots and less range thus making you
equip the grip on this gun, usually takes 1 shot but it sometimes it doesn't
kill people in 1 shot, close range fights only, sleight of hand is required.
Spaz-12:
Weapon: Spaz-12
Rating: 8.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 8/24
Damage: 6/10
Range: 3/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Silencer
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
A little different from it was in MW2 since its not a pump action anymore but
a semi-automatic making more deadlier, even though its the shotgun with the
least amount of damage the fire rate and ammo clip make it no problem to take
out people, sleight of hand is recommended.
HS10:
Weapon: HS10
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 4/12
Damage: 7/10
Range: 3/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/2
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/2
This shotgun I've never seen been used by people in Black Ops, I'm not really
sure what to say but equip sleight of hand.
[/spoil]
Light Machine Guns:
HK21:
[spoil]
Weapon: HK21
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
This weapon is slow when firing and the recoil of the weapon makes the
accuarcy of the weapon kind of bad, damage is low and the ammo goes by fast so
equip the extended mags attachment [I know I've used this and and out ammo
fast when I was camping in Array], I would use this weapon for mid range
fights I would not hip fire and habe sleight of hand equipped since reloading is slow
RPK:
Weapon: RPK
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 40/120
Damage: 5/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope, Dual Mag
Aiming Down Sight: 2.5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 1.5/5
The RPK is boss like the RPD in MW2 [Don't you see the connection] it has not
as good accuarcy as the HK21 but is still a good weapon, I would use this gun
for mid to long range fights, do not hip fire, you could have sleight of hand
equipped or have the dual mag attachment on.
M60:
Weapon: M60
Rating: 4/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 100/100
Damage: 7/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 5/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope, Grip
Aiming Down Sight: 1/5
Hip Firing: 0.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 1/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 0.5/5
Notably the worst the LMG in the game since its slow, terrible accuarcy and
hella slow reload time, my suggestion is not to use it otherwise I would equip
extended mags, scavenger pro and sleight hand on this making the weapon have a
clip size of 200/300 which means you don't need to reload and sleight of hand
on if you need to reload.
Stoner63:
Weapon: Stoner63
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 9/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
The Stoner60 is the best LMG in the game according to me, it has decent damage
but the accuracy and and fire rate make up for it even though theres recoil
its still a good gun, use close to mid range fights, hip firing is great and
reloading is slow.

Sniper Rifles:
Dragunov:
[spoil]
Weapon: Dragunov
Rating: 5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 10/30
Damage: 8/10
Range: 9/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Infrared Scope, Suppressor,
Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
A hard gun to use since people think that you shoot from the middle like from
most snipers but instead you shoot from the top the triange when scoping,
though it usually doesn't kill in 1 shot unless headshot not a sniper worth
using.
WA2000:
Weapon: WA2000
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 6/18
Damage: 8.5/10
Range: 9/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Infrared Scope, Suppressor,
Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
Pretty much like the WA2000 in MW2 but you can't fire as fast like in MW2, its
a good weapon to use since you aim in the middle the crosshair, usually 1 shot
kill but I'm not sure.
L96A1:
Weapon: L96A1
Rating: 7/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 5/15
Damage: 9.5/10

Fire Rate: Bolt Action
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Infrared Scope, Suppressor,
Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
This weapon is the strongest sniper but also the leas accurate gun in the
sniper tier, like the Intervention but not as good and is almost 99% of the
time a 1 shot kill.
PSG1:
Weapon: PSG1
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 5/15
Damage: 9/10

Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
I would prefer the PSG1 since its the best sniper in the game, the stats are
there to back it up, usually a 1 shot kill.

Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 4/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 5/5
Notbaly the weakest pistol since it usually takes the whole clip to kill
somebody but is accurate and fast, quick reloading.
M1911:
Weapon: M1911

Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 7/21

Attachments: Upgraded Iron Sight, Extended Mag, Dual Wield, SUppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 5/5
An upgrade from the ASP but no difference at all but the damage.
Makarov:
Weapon: Makarov
Rating: 6.5/10

Clip Size: 8/24
Damage: 5/10
Range: 6/10

Attachments: Upgraded Iron Sight, Extended Mag, Dual Wield, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 4.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4.5/5
Notably my favorite pistol since it was used in MGS3 Snake Eater none other
than Ocelot, gets better damage, range and accuracy.
Python:
Weapon: Python
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 6/12
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Revolver
Attachments: ACOG Scope, Snub Nose, Speed Reloader, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: Depends if you have speed reloader or sleight of hand
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
Of course the revolver is the strongest pistol in every game except the only
drawback is the reloading time but thats why we have Speed Reloader or sleight
of hand for.

Just like the AT4 in MW2 only 1 shot but is easier to look down the sight.
RPG:

Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5 [If you have scavenger on]
I found out that the RPG is not as bad as it was in MW2, they made a few
adjustments like no more smoke trail after the RPG been fired, also the RPG
does not go off course as much anymore.

Attachments: None
Aiming Down Sight: N/A since you only hip fire
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4/5 [Can pick up knifes]
This is the tactical knife of Black Ops the only thing about it is that its a
secondary weapon and not a attachment on your pistol, the ballistic knife is
fast and has a unique feature that comes with it, if you fire the ballistic
knife a knife in the chamber of the hilt comes out can kills people, the
problem with this is that its hard to aim and hit and has short range to kill
[You can put up your knife from fallen enemies or it being stuck in the ground
or wall, so its an unlimited supply of ammo].

places that a frag cant get to.

can see you.
Clip Size: 1 Willy Pete
Nova Gas:
Cost: $2000
Nova Gas: This is combination of a concussion grenade and lethal gas. The Nova

the yellow smoke.
Clip Size: 1 Nova Gas

Concussion Grenade:

Decoy:
Cost: $2000
Decoy: The decoys are a new tool, instead of wasting bullets for the enemy to
come to you throw this decoy and it will simulate gunfire on the radar so it
might bring some stupid people to die [There is a easy way to tell if there is
a decoy on the map, if your near youll hear some pretty hurt ass effects
which means its nobody also look at radar if the decoy moves doesnt really
move that far its probably one, also look at what your teamates are doing as
well so you dont caught by this trick.]

-Again, not a gamemode to camp on. Keep moving, or you're likely to get stuck
by a crossbow bolt, and at the very least you won't find nearly as many
enemies.
-If you're using the crossbow, go for sticks. This just means hitting the
person with the bolt, and it will give you a guaranteed kill, unless someone
else miraculously kills them before it explodes. Hitting the wall can get you
a kill from the explosion, but a stick is much better if you can pull it off.
-Adjust for gravity. At long distances, both the crossbow bolts and the
ballistic knife will fall slightly. Aim a little above the enemy's head, and
you should hit them. Practicing in Combat Training or Player Matches could help
you get better at this.
-Lead your opponent. If your target is moving, aim a little in front of him.
The knife/bolt takes a second to reach the target! Again, practicing could make
you better at this.
-If an enemy sticks you with a crossbow bolt, and he is close to you, run at
him. This could cause him to kill himself and go bankrupt, helping yourself.

-Don't give up. I've come back to get second place, and be only one away from
winning, when people were on the Light Machine Guns and I still couldn't get a
kill with the Python. There's always a chance.
-I suggest camping with the Sniper Rifles. Black Ops sniping is much more
difficult than any Call of Duty before it, and it'll be near impossible to get
quickscopes and no-scopes.
-Be aware of the time it takes to switch between weapons. If your try to kill
two people in a row, the second one may kill you because you had to take a
second to switch to the next weapon.
-Some guns have a redicuously long readying time after you switch to it
(especially the M72 LAW). You can skip the animation by knifing or sprinting.
This will make you be able to fire quickly if you need to.

Tier 2
Hardened:
Second chance:
Second Chance - Pull out pistol before dying
Second Chance Pro - Survive longer so you can get revived by team
Pros:
-
Cons:
-
(1) Get 10 kills in second chance
(2) Kill the enemy who downed you 5 times
(3) Get 1 headshot in second chance
- 1st challenge: Have the python or CZ75 when using this perk since these to
pistols are strong but I prefer the python to do this.
- 2nd challenge: Kill the enemy who put you in second chance mode.
- 3rd challenge: Now this hard since you must aim for the head when your on the
ground, to get this you can have either high sensitivity to aim for the head
or just lucky, [My suggestion is to this with a friend]
Hacker:
Hacker - Detect enemy equipment, explosives and turrets
Hacker Pro - Sabotage enemy equipment, turrets, booby trap care packages and
invisible to motion sensor
Pros:
- Like the Sit Rep perk in MW2 but a bit better
- Pro is good since you can tamper enemy care packages and are invisible to
motion sensors
Cons:
- Nothing really bad to say about it
(1) Destroy 10 enemy equipments
(2) Get 25 kills with claymores or C4s
(3) Get 25 kills within the radius of your motion sensor or jammer
- 1st challenge: Since you can see enemy equipment just go around looking for
them and blowing them up.
- 2nd challenge: You can use claymores or C4s but I prefer claymores since I
dont need to look where the enemy is but Ill tell you how to do it both ways.
Claymores: Always plant the claymore on an angle so people with Lightweight and
Marathon Pro cant get to you, also note that you can only get 1 kill per life
with a claymore.
C4: Play objective games like Domination, Demolition to complete this, plant
your C4 near your objective and when you hear see or hear the enemy taking you
objective blow them up to get a kill. [NOTE THAT C4S ARE NOT AS STRONG AS IN
MW2 SO 1 C4 MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH TO KILL SOMEONE BUT IT USUALLY IS.]
- 3rd challenge: Camp in a defendable and not noob tubeable position to this
Motion Sensor: [You want to plant the motion sensor in the middle of the room
to give you maximum range or put it in a spot when it wont be destroyed but
can give you a lot of range as well, then wait for people to show up and kill
them to complete this challenge
Jammer: [Play objective games and plant your jammer near the objective so the
is covered, then hide and wait for people to come kill them.
Cons:

(1) Destroy 10 enemy equipments
(2) Get 25 kills with claymores or C4s
(3) Get 25 kills within the radius of your motion sensor or jammer

is covered, then hide and wait for people to come kill them.

Weapons:
The following tells you most if not all stats for each gun in the game.
Read this for guide on stats!!!
[spoil]
For this section I've added all the Primary, Secondary and Special weapons,
the weapon section is broken down into 3 parts, 1st there is a rating out
of 10 to show good the weapon is, the cost, ammo and clip size as well as the
stats and attachments for each gun. The 2nd part is a rating out of 5 to show
how good the weapon is actually. The 3rd part is tells some pros and cons and
how this gun should be used. [2nd and 3rd part are soley based on my opinon]
Aiming Down Sight: The rating that is show here depicts how much recoil your
weapon has thus making 1 the worst and 5 the best [3.5 and below rating is
recommended that you burst your weapon since the recoil on the weapon is bad]
Hip Firing: This also shows how much recoil your weapon has when your not
aiming down the sight, if hip firing alot i suggest the steady aim perk to
help you out.
Reloading with Ammo: Now this shows how fast your weapon reloads when you
at least 1 bullet still left in the gun, it sounds wierd but having at least
1 bullet in the gun is useful when reloading.
Reloading with No Ammo: The difference between reloading with ammo and none
is that when reloading with no ammo you need to take out the clip put a new
one in and then **** back the gun to be used again thus making difference
when fighting a bunch of people.
Primary Weapons:
Sub Machine Guns:
[spoil]
MP5k:
[spoil]
Weapon: MP5K
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 5/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Suppressor,
Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
The starting SMG that has decent damage and range though better in Black Ops
than MW2 since the recoil is lessened alot, use this weapon in close to mid
range fights, reloading is quite slow so Sleight of Hand is required and I
would not use this weapon for hip firing.
Skorpion:
Weapon: Skorpion
Rating: 5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 8/10
Range: 2/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Grip, Suppressor, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4.5/5
This weapon is great since its the most accurate SMG in the game but the only
problem is that its clip and ammo size is small and it has very low range,
only use for close range fights [small maps like Nuketown, Summit, etc], I've
also noticed that the 8 damage is not really 8 damage but rather like 5-6/10
damage rating so don't get fooled by this.
MAC11:
Weapon: MAC11
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip, Suppressor,
Rapid Fire, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 4/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4.5/5
I say the MAC11 is the same as the MP5 but is way faster, more accurate, less
recoil, use close to mid range fights, hip firing is great and has a fast
reloading time.
AK74u:
Weapon: AK74u
Rating: 9/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 6/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Grip, Suppressor, Grenade Launcher, Rapid FIre
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
The most common SMG used in the Black Ops game since it has high damage, its
quite accurate, you can use it for close to long range fights, hip firing is
kind of so so and its reloading is decent.
UZI:
Weapon: Uzi
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 32/96
Damage: 5/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip,
Suppressor, Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
I've haven't seen the Uzi used that much in Black Ops and is not a common
weapon to be used though it has decent stats in all aspects of the game, its
fire rate is second to none making it great for flanking the enemy with this
but since the fire rate is quite high you run out of bullets fast.
PM63:
Weapon: PM63
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Grip, Rapid Fire, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
I've also haven't seen this weapon alot in Black Ops but is fairly accurate
with decent damage, use in close to mid range fights, hip firing is ok and it
has good reload time. This weapon is quite fast as well but the ammo clip is
small meaning this gun is not to be used to build long killstreaks.
MPL:
Weapon: MPL
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 32/96
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip,
Suppressor, Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
In my opinon I think the MPL is just like the Uzi but is a bit better.
Spectre:
Weapon: Spectre
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Grip, Suppressor, Rapid Fire
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
A sort of common weapon used in Black Ops, good damage, accuracy and reload
time, use in close to mid range fights and is ok in hip firing.
Kiparis:
Weapon: Kiparis
Rating: 3/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/60
Damage: 6/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Suppressor, Rapid Fire, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
Don't let these stats fool you this gun, even though the stats look good the
the gun itself isn't that great, the stats on the gun are ok but the since the
recoil is so heavy on this gun is makes it alot worse.
Assault Rifles:
M16:
[spoil]
Weapon: M16
Rating: 10/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 9/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 3 Round Burst
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4/5
The starting assualt rifle and is awesome as it was in MW2, its accuarcy is
the best in the game beside the G11 with a high fire rate, great damage since
2-3 bullets usually kills someone, should be used in mid to long fights, you
should not use this weapon to hip fire since its a burst weapon.
Enfield:
Weapon: Enfield
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 4/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
A common weapon used in the game with standard damage and accuarcy, use mid to
long range fights, ok in hip firing [I personally liked this weapon and used
it alot until I bought another gun.]
M14:
Weapon: M14
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 8/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Grip,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
Being the strongest weapon in the game beside the FN Fal since its a semi-
automatic weapon, I would suggest you equip the grip for this gun to help with
the recoil on the gun, the accuracy is incredibly good, use in mid to long
fights, do not hip fire with this weapon.
FAMAS:
Weapon: Famas
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
The famas is no longer a burst weapon but a automatic, it has low damage like
in MW2, decent accuarcy, use in mid to long fights, I guess you can hip fire
with this weapon but I wouldn't recommend it.
Gaili:
Weapon: Gaili
Rating: 8.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 35/105
Damage: 6/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 3/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
Notably the best assault rifle in the game according to me, its damage is ok
but the accuarcy and fire make up for it, it can be used close to long range
making it a all purpose weapon, also hip firing is ok.
AUG:
Weapon: Aug
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
The Aug is almost like the Famas except that the famas has a little more range
than the Aug, I prefer the Aug instead.
FN FAL:
Weapon: FN Fal
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 20/60
Damage: 8/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
Pretty much the same thing as the M14 but you don't need grip for it.
AK-47:
Weapon: AK47
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
I found that when using the Ak47 that when aiming down the sight and hip
firing that the recoil has deceased alot from what it was in MW2 making this
weapon in more deadlier, with great damage, good accuarcy and the using the
weapon for mid to long range fights.
Commando:
Weapon: Commando
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, Dual Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Masterkey, Flamethrower, Grenade Launcher, Infrared Scope, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 1.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 4/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5
I see this weapon alot in the game but aint that good good, its pretty much
like the famas.
G11:
Weapon: G11
Rating: 9.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 48/144
Damage: 7/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 9/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: 3 Round Burst
Attachments: Low Power Zoom, Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
The G11 is pretty much like the M16 but has a bigger clip and ammo size but
doesn't have all the attachments you want.
[/spoil]
Shotguns:
Olympia:
[spoil]
Weapon: Olympia
Rating: 5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 2/18
Damage: 8/10
Range: 4/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Double Barrel
Attachments: Nothing
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 1/5
So the Olympia is like the rangers in MW2 except its not a sawn off shotgun,
though the damage is high on this weapon it somtimes needs 2 shots to kill the
person, only use is for close range fights, must have sleight of hand equipped.
Stakeout:
Weapon: Stakeout
Rating: 7/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 4/12
Damage: 8/10
Range: 2/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Pump Action
Attachments: Grip
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3/5
Like the Spaz-12 in MW2 but has less shots and less range thus making you
equip the grip on this gun, usually takes 1 shot but it sometimes it doesn't
kill people in 1 shot, close range fights only, sleight of hand is required.
Spaz-12:
Weapon: Spaz-12
Rating: 8.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 8/24
Damage: 6/10
Range: 3/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Silencer
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
A little different from it was in MW2 since its not a pump action anymore but
a semi-automatic making more deadlier, even though its the shotgun with the
least amount of damage the fire rate and ammo clip make it no problem to take
out people, sleight of hand is recommended.
HS10:
Weapon: HS10
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 4/12
Damage: 7/10
Range: 3/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/2
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/2
This shotgun I've never seen been used by people in Black Ops, I'm not really
sure what to say but equip sleight of hand.
Light Machine Guns:
HK21:
[spoil]
Weapon: HK21
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 5/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 7/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
This weapon is slow when firing and the recoil of the weapon makes the
accuarcy of the weapon kind of bad, damage is low and the ammo goes by fast so
equip the extended mags attachment [I know I've used this and and out ammo
fast when I was camping in Array], I would use this weapon for mid range
fights I would not hip fire and habe sleight of hand equipped since reloading is slow
RPK:
Weapon: RPK
Rating: 6/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 40/120
Damage: 5/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 8/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope, Dual Mag
Aiming Down Sight: 2.5/5
Hip Firing: 2/5
Reloading with Ammo: 2/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 1.5/5
The RPK is boss like the RPD in MW2 [Don't you see the connection] it has not
as good accuarcy as the HK21 but is still a good weapon, I would use this gun
for mid to long range fights, do not hip fire, you could have sleight of hand
equipped or have the dual mag attachment on.
M60:
Weapon: M60
Rating: 4/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 100/100
Damage: 7/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 5/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope, Grip
Aiming Down Sight: 1/5
Hip Firing: 0.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 1/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 0.5/5
Notably the worst the LMG in the game since its slow, terrible accuarcy and
hella slow reload time, my suggestion is not to use it otherwise I would equip
extended mags, scavenger pro and sleight hand on this making the weapon have a
clip size of 200/300 which means you don't need to reload and sleight of hand
on if you need to reload.
Stoner63:
Weapon: Stoner63
Rating: 7.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 30/90
Damage: 6/10
Range: 7/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 9/10
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight,
Infrared Scope
Aiming Down Sight: 3.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
The Stoner60 is the best LMG in the game according to me, it has decent damage
but the accuracy and and fire rate make up for it even though theres recoil
its still a good gun, use close to mid range fights, hip firing is great and
reloading is slow.
Sniper Rifles:
Dragunov:
[spoil]
Weapon: Dragunov
Rating: 5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 10/30
Damage: 8/10
Range: 9/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Infrared Scope, Suppressor,
Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
A hard gun to use since people think that you shoot from the middle like from
most snipers but instead you shoot from the top the triange when scoping,
though it usually doesn't kill in 1 shot unless headshot not a sniper worth
using.
WA2000:
Weapon: WA2000
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 6/18
Damage: 8.5/10
Range: 9/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Infrared Scope, Suppressor,
Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
Pretty much like the WA2000 in MW2 but you can't fire as fast like in MW2, its
a good weapon to use since you aim in the middle the crosshair, usually 1 shot
kill but I'm not sure.
L96A1:
Weapon: L96A1
Rating: 7/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 5/15
Damage: 9.5/10
Range: 9/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Bolt Action
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Infrared Scope, Suppressor,
Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
This weapon is the strongest sniper but also the leas accurate gun in the
sniper tier, like the Intervention but not as good and is almost 99% of the
time a 1 shot kill.
PSG1:
Weapon: PSG1
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 5/15
Damage: 9/10
Range: 9/10
Accuracy: 8/10
Mobility: 9/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Extended Mag, ACOG Scope, Infrared Scope, Suppressor,
Variable Zoom
Aiming Down Sight: 3/5
Hip Firing: 1/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2.5/5
I would prefer the PSG1 since its the best sniper in the game, the stats are
there to back it up, usually a 1 shot kill.
Secondary Weapons:
ASP:
[spoil]
Weapon: ASP
Rating: 3.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 7/21
Damage: 3/10
Range: 5/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 4/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 5/5
Notbaly the weakest pistol since it usually takes the whole clip to kill
somebody but is accurate and fast, quick reloading.
M1911:
Weapon: M1911
Rating: 5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 7/21
Damage: 4/10
Range: 5/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Upgraded Iron Sight, Extended Mag, Dual Wield, SUppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 5/5
An upgrade from the ASP but no difference at all but the damage.
Makarov:
Weapon: Makarov
Rating: 6.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 8/24
Damage: 5/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 7/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Upgraded Iron Sight, Extended Mag, Dual Wield, Suppressor
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 4.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 4.5/5
Notably my favorite pistol since it was used in MGS3 Snake Eater none other
than Ocelot, gets better damage, range and accuracy.
Python:
Weapon: Python
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 6/12
Damage: 7/10
Range: 8/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Revolver
Attachments: ACOG Scope, Snub Nose, Speed Reloader, Dual Wield
Aiming Down Sight: 4.5/5
Hip Firing: 3.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: Depends if you have speed reloader or sleight of hand
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5
Of course the revolver is the strongest pistol in every game except the only
drawback is the reloading time but thats why we have Speed Reloader or sleight
of hand for.
CZ75:
Weapon: CZ75
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 12/36
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Semi-Automatic
Attachments: Upgraded Iron Sight, Extended Mag, Dual Wield, Suppressor,
Full Auto
Aiming Down Sight: 5/5
Hip Firing: 4.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 5/5
Probably the most balanced pistol in the game since it has good range, damage
accuracy and a good ammo and clip size.
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 12/36
Damage: 6/10
Range: 6/10
Accuracy: 6/10
Mobility: 10/10

RPG:
Weapon: RPG
Rating: 8/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 2/0
Damage: 10/10
Range: 5/10
Accuracy: 4/10
Mobility: 8/10
Fire Rate: 2 Unguided missiles
Attachments: None
Aiming Down Sight: 2.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3.5/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 3.5/5 [If you have scavenger on]
I found out that the RPG is not as bad as it was in MW2, they made a few
adjustments like no more smoke trail after the RPG been fired, also the RPG
does not go off course as much anymore.
Strela-3:
Weapon: Strela-3

the enemy team.

Damage: 10/10

Aiming Down Sight: 2.5/5
Hip Firing: 2.5/5
Reloading with Ammo: 3/5
Reloading With No Ammo: 2/5 [If you have scavenger on]
The thumper of Black Ops but a little better since you have 2 shots already
loaded in the gun but cannot be fired consectively so sleight of hand is
needed to reload this gun since it is hella slow.
Rating: 5.5/10
Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 2/0
Damage: 10/10
Range: 5/10
Accuracy: 5/10
Mobility: 8/10

Ballistic Knife:
[spoil]Weapon: Ballistic Knife

Cost: $2000
Clip Size: 1/1
Damage: 10/10
Range: 2.5/10
Accuracy: 4/10
Mobility: 10/10
Fire Rate: Single shot with a rechamber
Crossbow:

Cost: $2000
Semtex: Will stick to virtually anything including people, good for clearing
places that a frag cant get to.
Clip Size: 1 Semtex
Tomahawk:

into everything except a players skull.
Clip Size: Infinite because it can be picked up over and over again.
Tactical:
Willy Pete:
[spoil]
Cost: Start with it
Willy Pete: A Willy Pete is pretty much a smoke grenade but can cause you or
the enemies screen to go a little blurry, puts a screen of a smoke so enemies
can see you.
Clip Size: 1 Willy Pete
Nova Gas:
Cost: $2000
Nova Gas: This is combination of a concussion grenade and lethal gas. The Nova
gas will slow down the enemy, blur his/her vision and hurt the health while in
the yellow smoke.

Concussion Grenade:

Concussion: Pretty much like stun grenades from MW2, makes the enemy have slow
reflexes so he/she cant aim fast or sprint.
Clip Size: 2 Concussion Grenades
[/spoil]
Decoy:
