why is it that some members give random neg rep for no reason?

I myself got neg rep (-50) for no reason

and so did TTG_DWIELS

Yep, in this case it was Ass_Violater who neg repped me 50 just cause I disagreed with him on his post on a game he suggested to others.

I sent him a message saying I'd change my posts to "Cool bro, it was fun playing.", plus rep him, and thank the topic.
He replies saying:
"You're complaining about rep? It's just a number, get over it. And your grammar sucks."
(My grammar most truly does NOT suck. When I PM I chillax while typing. I don't want to look like a noob with bad grammar in the forums so I try my best here)

If it's a number that doesn't matter, why did he use it as a weapon against. Rep shows if you can be trusted and it's not the easiest getting rep

There must of been a reason..if not, then you can report it as rep abuse, but you must be 100% sure there was not a reason.
