i was woundering if you can help or give me ideas of my problem... i was browsing the mw2 10th lobby forums on ttg and i found a topic saying free system link and people where posting legit on the topic so i sent him my account details and he recovered it and was winding me up by saying hes not giving it back... he did the system link and after an hour he finally gave it back... he changed the email address and password on me tho. so he sent me the new email and password and i tryed recovering it but i couldnt ... it was halfway recovered and it showed an error message .. so i asked my friend to try and recover it and he was able to do so without any problems... my friend then changed my password but he deleted the account off his xbox by accident and is unable to recover it 4 some reason... and i cant either... so does anyone know any ways i can get it back?? or any ideas 4 me? im prepared to try almost anything... i'd really appreciate it if someone will help me... thanks

if i posted this in the rong forum sorry . i dont know where else i could put it...

Never give your account information, no matter how legit it looks. Hell, don't even give staff your account information. The first thing you need to check is if your account information is still in your hands. Go onto xbox.com and attempt to log in. If you can log in, then that's a good sign; you're still aware of the current password. The next thing to do would be to, again, attempt to recover it. If it gives you an error message, you just need to try again later. Assuming somebody DOES have your account and have not changed the password to something you don't know, you cannot recover the account while they are on it. Try recovering the account at an odd hour if this is the case (eg. early in the morning or very late at night). Lastly, if you just cannot recover the account for another reason not listed, attempt to recover a different account (just create one, delete it, try recovering it). If this doesn't work, your network might be having issues. If you're using wireless connection, switch to wired temporarily. If ALL this fails, contact Xbox customer support.

ONLY ever use trusted sellers.
It's common sense, PM me to his profile and I'll do my best to get it back.
If I see another topic like this from you, I'll take it further.
