on XBL me and my friend can be in the same game/party if someone else is hosting it, but if he invites me on say FIFA 11 it says loading and then says your opponent has left the game and the same on CoD. ive tried resetting my router, is there anything else i could try?

Change your IP address.

Unplug router, leave for 30 seconds and then plug back in.

Or go to Xbox Dashboard> System Settings> Network Settings> Hub> Test Xbox Live Connection.

Sign back in and your NAT will be opened.
