well, i saw that some users on TTG had been experiencing this error and i decided to post a quick fix.
Materials:
A can of compressed air
an Xbox 360
a test game (one that has been in it's case for quite a while)
First, open your tray and take the disk out(leave the tray open. Then unplug all your cables from your Xbox, this should leave you with just the Xbox with an open tray and your compressed air.
Then, take your compressed air and stick the nozzle into the trays opening (don't turn your can upside down or it will freeze the insides of your Xbox)Proceed to shoot short bursts of air into your Xbox, which should clean your disk reader of all dust.
If this doesn't work then you may have to send your Xbox back to Microsoft. Don't fret though, it takes about one week after you send it in for them to send it back.
*Disclaimer* I Take no responsibility for any messed up Xboxs. *Disclaimer*

there are more ways to fix it. the problem is that the laser is too far away from the disc. first method is to get a dumb game and put it in the try and slam it shut then turn it off (try it like 4 times). next way is to open it up and turn the tiny screws clock wise and it should adjust the laser. last way is to press down kinda hard on top of the 360 to compress the disc reader. i have to do the last one alot because i dont want to break the warnty on anther 360.
hope this helps
