Hey guys, ive seen everyone starting to make "mod menus" in black ops with .CFG files.
Well this is what i do often for Cod 4 on the Ps3, and we have got Challenge lobbies and proper mod menus working out of Configs files and Dvars, these will go in the RIGHT column in Xero.

But i will show you some codes that can be used to make a real and effective mod menu

Moving the "Say" command into the middle of the screen instead of it being on the left of the screen this makes it look alot more realistic:
set cg_hudChatPosition "250 250"

The amount of time the "Say" text is displayed on screen, 12000 = 120 seconds:
set cg_chatTime "12000"

This code makes the "Say" command certain heights, for example if you have 5 lines of text in your mod menu, telling people what to do you would set the value to "5" but if you only want 3 lines of text displayed at one time on the screen change the value to 3.. and so on:
set cg_chatHeight "5"

I didnt no everyone is into all of this now, it is really fun and we have made some great codes for cod 4.. I will release more codes that i have to make lobbies fun. I will also do a tutorial on "VSTR" (Variable String) which allows you to make a REAL mod menu.

Thanks

This is a good post but you could leave the say text for people that need verification, and have the text show up in the middle of the screen.
