He is talking about the older one came out for original Xbox/PS2, It was great when I first played it on orignal xbox, loved playing with a friend after school, used to get in to some intense races. I also bought it off games on demand still pretty fun, online is alright not many people play now, I got Hot Pursuit, so I just play that if I feel like playing a racing game. Too bad there isn't more customization in Hot Pursuit still a fun game.

But thats what i was turned off by in nfs hot pursuit 2(old one). The fact that there was no true free roam and that cars when picked for you is what turned me off i guess. The reason that i liked nfs most wanted so much was that once you beat the blacklist the game never felt like i had beat it because of the free roam. In my opinion the Need for speed series needs to take a break from trying to be the racing game company that goes for the most realistic game but go for game like most wanted in a sense that it wasnt all a big checklist game. By checklist i mean you just check of races and objectives as you go because to me a game like that gets boring real fast and has no replay value. Leave the checklist games to forza and gran turismo.

sorry gawley but hot pursuit sucks its all about underground 2
