if they get your ip address, i dont think they can tell "exactly" where you live, but like down to the city, and your ISP ( internet provider ), if you did something serouis " ( fraud , scamming, hacking ) the FBI will contact your ISP and demand your address, and they will have no choice to give it to them, then depending on what you did, they can worn you about it ( ussualy they do this if u pirate a program ) they can shut down your internet, arrest, bring you to federal court, etc

Depends on what you have done, microsoft would be able to provide information from what internet connections the account has been logged in from then display the ip address.. then they would have to contact the internet service provider (ISP) then they could provide information, as i said depends on what you have done, but i dont think a JTAG or Game modding would attract cyber police attention unless it was on a huge scale..

If you have handled a stolen account and have bought microsoft points with the credit card information on it you could indeed be in serious trouble included charges are credit fraud, handling of stolen information etc, nobody has ever been charged over an Xbox Live account, a few people have been cautioned in minor cases and have had their internet connection cancelled by their ISP.

Your fine I've stolen plenty of accounts with CCs on them and even used them back in my Phisher days and all in all the worst thing that happend to me was my isp blocked port 3074 and my xbox was banned
