What is the error code? If no error code appears on screen follow these steps

1: Hold down the sync button
2: Hit eject four times

And it should read an error code

I'm assuming you have Xell/Xellous installed.

You will need a FAT32 USB flashdrive for this. May also work from a burned disc or a usb hard drive. Never tried it so I don't know.

Make a freeboot image with any of the freeboot image makers. Make sure it is saved as "updflash.bin".

Put updflash on ROOT of USB drive

UNPLUGGED POWER TO XBOX!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!

plug in usb drive into front port

plug in power

boot into Xell/ous with eject button

Should recognize usb drive and updflash resulting in an automatic flashing of the nand with new image.

in my experience (i repair, refurb, JTAG, etc xboxs) this has fixed ALL of my E79 issues. It's supposedly either a bad flash or shoddy soldering skills for jtag wiring. I'm a beast with a soldering iron and i ALWAYS use flux so my errors are always due to bad flashes.

If this doesn't work, check your jtag solder points.

good luck.

If You Get Disk With JTAG, It Should Have Original Nand On It.
Put The JTAG Disc In,
Turn Off JTAG,
Hit The Eject Button While Holding The Disk Tray In So It Wont Open,
It Should Boot Up In Xell.
When Its All Done In Xell,
Your Ready To Go,
Switch JTAG Off,
Then Switch Back On,
You Should Be Able To Go On It Now Because It Has Your Original Nand On It.

Hope That Worked!
