ok i have KaKaRoToKS cfw and when i try to install ftp server it wont let me i get a error......=( do i need to have geohots cfw or the one that you have? or can i have any?

Follow the instructions, dont skip any steps. This will not work on Kakarotos!

ok well i have another ps3 that has 3.50 on that i was gonna downgrade....have you tested this and made sure that the ftp server works so if i update and do this that it will work if not i will just downgrade and do it the old fashion way jw?

It will work if done correctly. No worries. Upgrading your systems up to 3.55 will not cause you to miss out on anything homebrew related anymore. There is absolutely no point at staying at 3.50 or 3.41 anymore.
