hey guys, i am thinking about buying a PS3 in a few days. have any useful things i might need to get.

oh yeah and whats the pros/cons of jailbreaking it?

xbox is much better in my opinion but i guess ps3 online is free...

well if youve done any modding in the past you will easily be able to host challenge lobbys

Ok Tip number one. Stay on Xbox, all you new ps3 users need to gtfo and stick to xbox. We don't need a enlargement of leechers on the ps3. Requirements for Jailbreak: Maybe you shouldn't think of it! There is a 3/4 chance of banned. My PS3 is jailbroken so I know.

there is most definitely not a 75% chance of getting banned. Xbox and PS3's are very similar. Only difference is online and controllers.

Jailbreaking has no affect. 0% of ban, CFW are not illegal.

ok thanks guys sorry about the long reply time ttg was messed up for me as in couldnt show any pages but the home page.
and i dont tend to leech. i never am just here to just get a lobby or whatever i try to help when i can and ask so good questions when i need help and what-not

It took me 10 minutes to Jailbreak my Ps3 it is so easy and you only need a regular USB stick
If you like modding then yes get a Ps3.
