I hav a question and want to see if any knows what i did wrong

well i hav one of the older waw iso patches and i made the iso and every thing. i hotswaped it on my xbox and installed it now the weird part is after installing it the only way it lets me play is if i hav the disk in so when i put the disk in and start the game the disk stops spinning but the game continues(proving its installed) also when i try to do nazi zombies on the first map it ends and says "there was a problem reading your data. please ensure all storage devices are connected properly and your game disk is clean" now i really dont understand for one my harddrive is connected properly and my disk isnt running bcuz the game is installed. yet when i play on co-op campaign or any other map then nacht der untoten it works. the problem is that with the old version u need to play on nacht der untoten. i didnt use a dual layer disk but idk if thats the problem or its something i did to the iso

please respond
