i was just wondering where the term "jtag" originated... like who chose to call it that and why? idk just something i was thinking about randomly dont flame if this is a stupid question lol just sorta interested

JTAG is an acronym for Joint Test Action Group. The act of performing such task was first used on computers well before being applied to an Xbox.
