Well I ordered a transfer cable online, and i don't think it was microsoft brand, well i went to transfer info from my 20gb to my 120gb and it said the hard drive connected wasnt an xbox 360 hard drive, i put the hard drive on one of my other consoles and it recognized it fine, and when i took the 120gb off the cable and plugged it into the same xbox it recognized it to, but when i used the transfer cable it named it as a USB drive, said i had to configure it to use it on an xbox, so i did ( like a dumbass ) and now everything is erased and i can only use 15gb on the hard drive , AND when I plug it in by itself it doesnt even recognize the damned thing, only when i use the cable to do it does it even recognize it as a USB drive, What should I do? Is there a way to re configure it to its factory settings someway? I have xport360.

I'd say hook the old drive to pc. download modio and extarct every file oyu need profiles/dlc's etc and then hook new drive to pc and save it to the hard drive.
It wil probably be a long process though.

If I'm correct you are trying to transfer content
Put the 160 on the xbox and the 20 on the transfer

No my problem is that since i configured it, the 160GB hard drive no longer works on the xbox 360, it doesnt recognize it at all. I dont really care about the data, i just want the hard drive to work.
