I just updated my thread with an all new CFW and a new package called fix permisions. Download that pkg and see if it fixes your issue. Let me know.

As of now it is known to be absolutely safe as no bricks have been reported on slim nor phat. But there are always risks no matter what.

i just did this succsessfully useing a jailbtoken iphone as a usb, lol

yo mate is there any way to enter the recovery menu without a controller ?? casue i just got an cheap shity controller where the PS-Button is not compatible

I have the new cfw and i tryied the fix file permissions but it still black screens every time i try and boot
