once you are level 50, start a party an xbox live party as you are in the lobby. Press y to bring up your frinds list and go to the left to where it shows your xbox live party. press a on yourself and you should be able to prestige. +rep if this helped

I thought it got patched?

The last method I tried failed but idk :/
