As for the question you asked, what do you mean it can't process an update? What update are you trying to do, and how?

You shouldn't really need to do any updates other than maybe one and thats when you try to sign into xex (you do that update)

Otherwise, you shouldn't do any updates.

the long won it goes realy fast then says cant proccess update, could backward diodes in my jtag cause that

Dont update. Also if you are using a usb just for the retail xbox, like it was made specifially for the Xbox 360, take it out
