idk i may be wriong but i feel mw2 wasnt contained with modding because it got out of hand so fast they couldnt do much... for alll of u scared of a 48 hour ban or anything.. i think every one should just mod like crazy.. and maybe get it out of hand.. idk lol im prob wrong but just a thought

No. That theory would only work if they hand by hand banned users, as it would take too much effort to ban thousands of users per day. Treyarch use detection systems to detect people who mod, and it will never be too out of hand as their systems are designed to work across millions of people.

i think they just got overrun by hackers they coulnd handel it there where too many faults in the security of the game
