Title might be a little misleading but I don't know what to title it.

Anyways, I have a scratched(laserburn I think) Modern Warfare 2 and I borrowed a friends to install it to hard drive so I could play with the scratched one. A month or so after Black Ops came out, I needed space for other stuff and I never played MW2, so I deleted it. Now I need to be able to play MW2, but at this time I can't borrow a disk from anyone. I was wondering if maybe there's a way I can download the game online, then use a transfer cable and put it on my hard drive?

i dont think that is possible but u could alway flash your drive and download an iso deppending on your xbox becasue they have almost compleatly fixed iso modding with the newest update like 5-6 days ago...

i was trying to do something very close to this, i got as far as resigning the files to a new xbox (note installed games can only be played "via installed files" on the xbox you did it on), meaning, you cant install on one xbox, take out the hard drive, and play it on another using the installed game data...

You gonna borrow your friends game (same game) and install hes game to your hard drive and then u can play with your disc even if its scratched
