The Modded Profile (E###########) goes into the Content (0) Section of Partition 3.
The Maps (4D53085B) goes into the 00000000000000 Folder of Content (0) of Partition 3.

If you're using USB Xtaf Xplorer, you may not be able to view the 000000000000 Folder. To make sure you can see it, place a small arcade game on your flash drive (space permitting).

Remember, the map pack alone is 411-ish MB. The profile will be somewhere between 4-10 MB. (I don't remember off the top of my head). Make sure you've got the free space


After you've done this once from the USB, feel free to put it all on your Hard Drive.


The process is a tad bit tedious, but it saves you 10 dollars. If you Dashboard or turn off your 360 you will have to repeat the process upon booting Reach again.

I found this tutorial and the files on a YouTube video, but the video required you to download a four-part .rar, bridged through a Click-Pay advertising site, just to get the files. I thought I'd save you the trouble and share this information by reducing the steps.

For the record: This is all informational, and I do not endorse the use of stolen property, physical or otherwise. The links mistakenly made their way into the post and I just can't seem to find out how to get rid of them.

=Tutorial=

Step 1:
Boot Up Your Xbox

Step 2:
Sign out of your main GamerTag (Controller 1)

Step 3:
Sing in to the modded GamerTag (Controller 1)

Step 4:
Start Halo Reach

Step 5:
Start a Local Custom Game and load the map "Tempest"

Step 6:
Start the Game on Tempest and wait until the announcer says: "Slayer" or whatever.

Step 7:
Sign in to your main GamerTag on Controller 2

Step 8:
When you're in the menu and both gamertags are signed in, start the game

Step 9:
Sign out of the modded GamerTag (via the xbox guide) and end the game.

Step 10:
When you're back in the lobby with your main Gamertag, press y and change your mode to XboxLive

Step 11:
Start the Game one last time


I've packaged all of the things you'll need together. In the folder entitled 'Gamertag' You'll find the modded profile that you must put onto your HDD or USB Storage Device. In the other folder I've got the Map Pack file, which I explained how to use at the top.
