R E A D and answer please

JTAG-GALORE wrote Hang on, are you actually saying you don't actually have a nand read/writer? Like LPT or USB??? And that all you've done is attach a few diodes....

Noooo, I was wondering if any LPT connector would work and how and where I'd hook it up, How would I use usb to hook it up?

i'm trying to work out what read/write you are using, have you got an LPT lead hooked up to your xbox to read/write the NAND?

No I don't. That's why I asked where I'd hook it up if I used usb.

LOL, you mean to say you wanted to JTAG, you installed all the wires, BUT you don't even have a reader/writer setup for the NAND???

That's like trying to drive a car without a steering wheel. You will need either a NAND-X (highly recommended) OR make your own LPT flasher, but it will only work if you have an LPT port on your PC

Well I think I have a LPT port, but I don't feel like making one. How much is a NAND-X?

$45

LPT is alot cheaper but takes longer

NAND-x is easier to solder and quicker to read/write
